Heritage Open Days 2026 – Trinity Clocktower Extended Tour
We’re delighted to share that for Heritage Open Days 2026 we have a special opportunity to look behind the scenes of our beautiful theatre as well as exploring our Clocktower! Following a regular Clocktower tour, visitors will step through into where the pews once were to have a sneak peek backstage! Led by our Creative Director and Deputy CEO Jason Lower, visitors will get a rare chance to find out how the theatre works with a tour of the auditorium. As well as finding out how Trinity puts on its shows, visitors will also have a chance to view some of the historic Victorian memorials not usually not visible to the public, and hear a little bit about the people they honour. Clocktower tour will run from 11.30am until 12.15, with the auditorium tour running from 12.15 until 13.00.
Max capacity 20 people
Age Guidance: All ages welcome, though for safety and accessibility purposes we recommend that all visitors must be able to climb 118 steps independently
Warning: 118 steps from the first floor. Visitors should only climb if they feel fit and well.
