Step into a world of light, shadow, and storytelling in this hands-on shadow puppet workshop for children.
Exploring the origins of shadow puppetry and experimenting with beautiful puppets from South East Asia, children will discover how simple shapes can come to life. Through playful activities like creating silhouettes and profiles, designing their own moving puppets, and building miniature scenery, children will develop skills they can easily continue at home using everyday materials.
Tickets cost £25. Please note Youth Theatre activities are non-refundable.
A GO Card discount of 20% is available for those eligible.
All of our groups are led by experienced, DBS-checked professional youth theatre leaders. Please see Trinity Theatre’s Safeguarding Policy for more information.
We know times are currently financial tough for some families, and don’t want anybody who wants to come to be put off by the price. We have bursaries available via The Elliott Fund for those who need financial support.

Dates and times
Café & Bar
Our Café & Bar is open Mon to Sat 10am - 3pm and an hour before all performances outside of these hours.
Don't forget that drinks from the Café & Bar can be taken into the auditorium to enjoy during the performance. Please note that no outside food and beverages are permitted.
