Thanks to England’s old fashioned, frankly sexist ideas about succession, despite being Edward’s older sister, she’s not in line to become queen; instead, she finds herself confined to the palace with nothing much to do.

Sure, missing out on the big seat is annoying, but it does give her a little more freedom than her brother, so she has quite the most wonderful imagination!

On first meeting, she might seem a little brattish – she certainly does have a boastful streak and she is a little spoilt and materialistic – but she’s also a truly loving sister and daughter.

Who knows, maybe one day she’ll be a great queen too?
