Play Script Readings

Transport yourself to another world through the magic of theatre

Shrug off the stress of your day and step into new characters at Script Reading, a fortnightly social club and continuously changing space where the participants try on new identities, explore new works and meet new people.

Just like reading a well-loved book that transports you to other worlds, scripts can take a group of people to fantastical lands, and play anyone or anything. Have a go at accents, discover new stories and unite with avid readers and drama lovers alike!

No experience required.

Upcoming Titles

  • Mon 4 Nov: The Grapes of Wrath
  • Mon 18 Nov: The Grapes of Wrath

Previously, the group has read scripts including Charley’s Aunt, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Bleak Expectations, INK, Abigail’s Party and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.

The group runs fortnightly on Mondays from 1.30pm – 3pm at Trinity Theatre, Church Road, Tunbridge Wells, TN1 1JP

Spaces available, just turn up. £5 per session, payable on the door.

We do not want cost to be a barrier for anyone wanting to join in these sessions. Anyone who is unable to afford it may pay less, no questions asked. Please make sure to still get a ticket from Box Office on arrival.

If you have any questions, please email Issy Milton or call 07587 537308.

Made possible thanks to a generous individual donation.
