Who Can Take Part?
- Ages 13 – 18 (as of 31 August 2025): Open to everyone, no experience or previous membership of Trinity Youth Theatre needed!
- Ages 19 – 20: You’re welcome to join if you’ve previously taken part in Trinity Youth Theatre activities.
Key Dates
Cast Auditions:
Saturday 10 May & Sunday 11 May (you’ll be assigned a time slot, with video audition options if needed).
Cast Rehearsals:
- Monday 4 – Friday 8 August, 10am – 5pm
- Sunday 10 – Tuesday 12 August, 10am – 5pm
- Thursday 14 August, 10am – 5pm
- Friday 15 August, 10am until late
Orchestra Auditions & Rehearsals:
- Auditions: By video submission
- Rehearsals: Monday 11 – Thursday 14 August, 10am – 5pm; Friday 15 August, 10am until late
Performances:
Friday 15 August & Saturday 16 August
What Does It Cost?
£330 per participant (payable in full or in 3 instalments). The fee includes:
🎭 Two weeks of rehearsals and training led by talented professional artists
🎟️ A show hoodie
📸 Digital show photos
Instalment Deadlines:
- Instalment 1 (to secure your place): Due on booking
- Instalment 2: 28 April
- Instalment 3: 2 June
Bursaries are available for those on low incomes thanks to The Elliott Fund.
Refund Policy
Our shows often sell out and have waiting lists. Refunds are only possible if we can find someone to fill your spot, which may not be possible after casting.
How to Take Part
Everyone who registers will be in the cast! Auditions (or video submissions) will help assign lead roles and ensemble groups.

Orchestra members will get to work with a professional Musical Director and other musicians on a series of rehearsal days, before performing with our talented young cast.
Musicians should be Grade 5 standard as minimum.
We are currently looking for:
- Keyboard 1
- Keyboard 2
- Guitar 1 (Acoustic and Electric)
- Guitar 2 (Acoustic & Electric)
- Drum Kit
- Percussion (Quint Toms, Bongos, Bell Tree, Mark Tree, Suspended Cymbal, Glockenspiel, Tambourine, Triangle, Cowbell, Congas, Tam-tam, Tenor Drums, 2 Woodblocks, Carnivale Shaker, Doumbel, Egg Shaker, Small Egg Shaker, Larger Shaker, Chocalho Caixa)
- Electric Bass
- Marching Band: Drum Corps
- Marching Band: Brass
To sign up…
- please fill out our Orchestra Registration Form.
- record a video of 2-5 minutes in length of you performing a piece of music of your own choice using your instrument(s). Remember to say your name at the top of the video and include it in the filename (if you can) and then upload it to our Dropbox.
Orchestra members’ spaces are free, though hoodies (should you want one) come at an extra cost.
