Meet the Cast of The Prince and the Pauper!
With the first rehearsals for The Prince and the Pauper starting this morning, we’re into the full swing of Christmas preparations, all with a Tudor twist; from chopping down trees so impressive they’d make Trafalgar Square green to drying out an abundance of cinnamon-scented fruit, come together as we make this the fun and festive Christmas that we all truly deserve.
Directed by none other than our very own Artistic Director, Sean Turner (The Play That Goes Wrong, No Villain), and with a team of creatives including exciting in-house talent, this is much more than your standard fare, this is the coming together of Tunbridge Wells theatre royalty and some national names joining us for our Christmas adventure, and we want to share it with you.
Joining our incredible cast to bring Mark Twain’s classic to life:
Emily Newsome, Mhairi Gayer, Leah Gayer, Dexter Southern, Joëlle Brabban, Anya de Villiers, Oliver Nazareth Aston and Samuel Nunes De Souza.
Jemma Kennedy’s magical multicolour adaptation is brought to life by Artistic Director, Sean Turner, composer Stephen Hyde, designer Tara Usher, and assistant director and young company director Felicia De Angeli, with lighting design from Jai Morjaria, sound design from Bradley Rushmer, costume supervision from Rachel Rose and Alice Harvey, stage management from Leonara Nicholson and a set build from Andy Newall under the production management of Harry Palmer.
It’s time to delve into History (Horrible or not) as we invite you to embrace festive family fun in this rollicking comedy, one that delivers with a moral heart. It is Christmas, after all…
