What’s On This November at Trinity?

With Halloween passing, we’re starting to think that maybe it’s really time to start getting festive…

After the events of last year, this is the time to make sure that you’re seeing family, friends and loved ones, and where better to do so than right here at Trinity. Join us and relax as homemade food and local drink accompany incredible theatre, cinema, comedy, music and dance, family theatre, youth theatre, community engagement programmes and lots more!

THEATRE

With an incredible run through October for Trinity Theatre Club’s The Hound of the Baskervilles, and our Christmas show, The Prince and the Pauper drawing ever closer, think of November as the filling of your theatre sandwich – and it’ll certainly keep you full! The critically-acclaimed Pantaloons Theatre Company present their horrifically innovative take on Robert Louis Stevenson’s The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde before Rumpus Theatre Company join us for the ghost story to end all ghost stories, Whistle and I’ll Come To You. A laughter-filled parody of the classic D.H. Lawrence novel brings high drama, high comedy and highly-raised eyebrows in (Not) Lady Chatterley’s Lover.

COMEDY

Alfie Moore, Ali Cook, Lucy Porter, Pete Firman, Rich Hall, Sindhu Vee (you can still join the waiting list!) you’ve missed some incredible acts live on our stage this Autumn, so make sure you don’t miss any more with Stephen K Amos, Dom Joly, and The Thinking Drinkers all live on-stage this month! Delivering the best on the comedy circuit, with national acts keen to get on our stage, why not break the boredom of the working week and kick back for a night to remember at our November Comedy Club?

Sindhu Vee: “Acerbic perspective and unapologetic delivery” – (The List);

Stephen K Amos: “Amos is officially becoming a national treasure” – (The Sunday Times);

Dom Joly: “cares a whole lot, which gives the show a special quality” – (On Magazine);

The Thinking Drinkers: “An intoxicating success… as interesting as it is hilarious” – (The Sunday Express).

CINEMA

Alongside both our Senior Cinema and Young Film Programmers initiatives, screening High Society and La Haine respectively, we’ve got some enormous titles this month, kicking off with the remarkable biopic of Aretha Franklin, Respect, before we get into all things Bond. The 25th movie in the record-breaking franchise, No Time To Die is the punchy, dramatic finale we all needed for Daniel Craig’s final outing as 007, and is truly a cinematic event not to be missed. Moving towards the end of the month, we’ll be screening the latest delight from Wes Anderson, The French Dispatch providing a loving depiction of the vibrant spirit of journalism, and featuring a cast chock-full of acting prowess.

Respect: “It certainly dishes out nothing less than the title demands” – (Daily Telegraph UK);

KITCHEN & BAR

Jazz Brunches are back! Our Kitchen & Bar is the heart of our award-winning venue, it’s the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of Tunbridge Wells town centre. We welcome Café Society back to our Foyer Stage, and with a superb Brunch Menu courtesy of our Kitchen & Bar, these are events not to be missed! We strongly advise booking as our Jazz Brunch events are incredibly well-received, especially if you’re joining us for a special occasion.
