What does Trinity Theatre mean to you?

It is an integral part of the local community, being open to all and offering a place to be entertained, relax and meet with friends.  We are lucky to have such a place in our community.

Does Knight Frank fundraise for a local charity?

We fundraise nationally for LandAid, Maggie’s, Mary’s Meals and Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity. We are also encouraged to fundraise individually with Knight Frank being very supportive. Our office head Ross is a LandAid ambassador for the company and is planning a charity cricket match this summer to raise money for Hospice in The Weald who looked after his mother. Another member of the office ran a half marathon for ‘Cure Parkinsons’ in memory of her father in law, which the firm contributed to.

Community is Important to Knight Frank.

Whilst we are the largest privately owned property firm in the world, our team are all local people who want to support our local community and provide working relationships with our partners. Trinity Theatre is a truly exceptional story and cherished by so many people in Tunbridge Wells, we are very pleased to be able to support such a fine organisation and help it grow.

What was your first experience of Trinity?

We have all seemingly visited Trinity separately, however we enjoyed a night out before Christmas at the Comedy Café and everyone had a wonderful time. The whole team enjoyed themselves and this made us realise what joy it brings to so many.

Perfect night at Trinity Theatre?

Fish and Chips for supper with an act like Jack Dee or Greg Davies to watch afterwards. I am sure they would have good material about Tunbridge Wells.

What excites you about the Trinity Theatre comedy nights and programme in 2019?

Aside from some of the amazing acts who are going to be performing, it is great to see so many of our local community attending, every show seems to be full and plenty of enjoyment had.

Whats your personal philosophy?

Manners cost nothing, be polite and treat people with respect.

Whats the most fun you ever had?

I took part in a charity rally across Europe 5 years ago, 3000 miles in 4 days. Organised by the same people who created the Gumball Rally, this was a banger version……no more than £500 to be spent on a car. We purchased an ex police pursuit car, which really came in to its own when we drove through Germany and hit the auto bahns. Very tiring, but exhilarating 4 days across Europe.

What are you most proud of?

As an ambassador for Landaid I visited a project in Tower Hamlets where I was introduced to a young man who had been involved with a gang. He wanted to work in finance to provide for his family and wear a suit to work to make his mum proud. I was able to secure him work experience with a bank in Canary Wharf and he now has a full time job there as an accounts clerk. An amazing young man, just please that I could help him.

What excites you most about Tunbridge Wells in the future?

Seeing the town continue to grow and thrive. We live in a truly wonderful part of the world and it is nice to see so much community spirit on display.
