What does Trinity Theatre mean to you?

It’s an easily accessible cultural hub set in a unique environment.

Does Buss Murton fundraise for a local charity?

As a firm we are keen to support as many local charities as we can – so we do not simply support one local charity.

Community is obviously important to Buss Murton. As Trinity’s current Film Partner, why does this type of relationship matter to your business?

We are all about being a central part of the communities where we have a branch office. We want to be involved in and supportive of community life. Trinity’s at the forefront in the provision of the arts to Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding area. Our relationship with Trinity very much embodies our approach to Community.

What was your first experience of Trinity?

When I moved to Tunbridge Wells in the early to mid-1990s. My first experience of Trinity was a growing understanding of the funding challenges that Trinity faced, not just to stay in situ but also to become the arts centre it aspired to be.

If you could plan a perfect night out at Trinity, what would you watch, who would be in it and who would you invite?

A comedy. It doesn’t matter who is in the film as long as they are funny. My wife and children.

What excites you about our film programme?

The sheer variety of films on offer in both genre and in their country of origin.

What’s your personal philosophy?

The most important thing is to enjoy your life – to be happy.

What’s the most fun you’ve ever had?

Bungee jumping in New Zealand.

What are you most proud of – both professionally and personally?

Professionally – being associated with a business that has been providing legal advice to our local community for over 300 years.

Personally – my children.
