West End star and internationally acclaimed singer Maria Kesselman will share a personal selection of songs by Richard Rodgers, Andrew Lloyd-Webber, Stephen Sondheim, Michel Legrand, Edith Piaf, and Charles Aznavour, plus some much-loved classics, in a celebration of life through songs and storytelling. She will be accompanied by her musical director James Church.

Maria Kesselman has enjoyed a varied career spanning musicals, plays, operas, concerts, recordings, cabarets, and ballet. She first came to prominence when she played Christine Daaé opposite Michael Crawford in The Phantom of the Opera. She more recently performed in The Phantom of the Opera 25th Anniversary concert at the Royal Albert Hall. Maria’s other theatre credits include playing Jenny Lind in Barnum; Maria Vittoria in Which Which at the Piccadilly Theatre; Ruthie in Lady in the Dark at the The Royal National Theatre; Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady (New Zealand tour); Deanna Durbin in Two Smart Girls at the Queen Elizabeth Hall; Maria in The Sound of Music at the Everyman; and Melinda Coverdale in A Judgement in Stone with Sheila Hancock at the Lyric Hammersmith (Time Out award).

As an established concert performer, Maria has given solo performances at venues across UK and Europe, including The Royal Festival Hall, The Queen Elizabeth Hall, and the Royal Albert Hall. She has sung and recorded with leading orchestras including The Royal Philharmonic, The English National Orchestra and The BBC Concert Orchestra, and has given recitals for The English National Opera at the London Coliseum.

As a star cabaret performer, Maria has headlined in many of London’s top cabaret rooms, including the Crazy Coqs, The Pheasantry, The Café Royal, The Savoy, Grosvenor House, The Dorchester, The Ritz, The Hilton, The Connaught Rooms, Norden Farm Arts Centre, and Pizza on the Park.
